AmeriCorps members support Clinch-Powell’s housing programs, including client intake, community education & outreach, assessment and resource support, housing counseling, day-to-day operations in a nonprofit setting, and other agency events and initiatives.
Clinch-Powell is currently recruiting for an AmeriCorps member to provide support to the Marketing Team. This position manages social media platforms, represents the agency at local community events, provides information and resources to the community, and helps implement innovative marketing ideas, approaches and strategies in a team environment.
All Appalachia CARES AmeriCorps members will complete educational and hands-on projects in the community to address national performance measures, including housing services, energy efficiency & conservation, and volunteer management. Specific assignments and targets will be based on the service site and position. All members will complete AmeriCorps training requirements, quarterly reporting, and logging service hours.
