Clinch-Powell is Proud to Support our Hometown Heroes

Go to What's New

East Tennesseans are fortunate to have a group of dedicated Hometown Heroes—our neighbors who serve in law enforcement, emergency medical services, as firefighters, and those working in the healthcare and education fields. These are the people we count on to offer us assistance during emergencies and to educate our children and train the future professionals who will provide valuable services to this area.

In recognition of their commitment, Clinch-Powell offers these Hometown Heroes mortgage loan benefits to help them buy a home. Those who qualify receive up to $400 towards appraisal costs and a quarter percent interest rate reduction based on current market rates.

To be eligible, applicants must be receiving their home loan through a secondary market (Rural Development Guaranteed, FHA, VA, or conventional), and the borrower must be a current employee of a law enforcement agency, an emergency service or healthcare service provider or of an educational institution.

Clinch-Powell is able to offer these home loan incentives through Fahe, an organization of more than 50 local nonprofit groups including Clinch-Powell, all working together to uplift our nation’s rural places.

If you work in emergency or healthcare services or in education and would like to find out more information, contact Andrea Karr at 865-828-5927. Clinch-Powell is glad to serve our Hometown Heroes!
