On Thursday, September 28th, Clinch-Powell hosted the monthly Grainger Connects After Hours networking event at the lovely Bryan House in Rutledge, TN. Attendees enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board with lots of cheeses, crackers, olives, fruits and veggies. It was the center of attention and was wiped out by the time the event ended.
The Grainger County Chamber of Commerce kicked off the event with introductions and their vision for a thriving Grainger County. Two of Clinch-Powell's esteemed Board Members, Dave Lietzke and Cherry Acuff, shared some of the history of the 34 years of service that Clinch-Powell has provided. Lots was shared and lots was learned. Rebecca Dillow talked about what Clinch-Powell is currently working on and invited attendees to think of Clinch-Powell for fundraisers as well as other events to help us spread the word about what we do. Clinch-Powell "swag bag" door prizes were provided and enjoyed by those whose names were drawn. A great time was had by all!
The Grainger County Chamber of Commerce organizes the Grainger Connects After Hours events every month and are always looking for local Grainger County businesses to host. To learn more, visit their website at www.graingercochamber.org or follow them on Facebook.
