Clinch-Powell celebrated the establishment of its new office in Newport with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house Tuesday, April 28.

Attendees explored the new office at 204 Mims Ave. in Newport and enjoyed refreshments as part of the event. We also launched our newest program, Shift, during the event. The Shift program is designed to help those who might believe homeownership is out of reach make homeownership a reality.

Another new program being offered by Clinch-Powell’s Newport location is Living in Place, which provides some outdoor home services, such as lawn care, to help individuals who are older than 60 years old or disabled to remain in their homes. We also offer lending options for those who are ready to purchase their home, loan and grant assistance for both disaster-related and general home repairs, financial counseling and job opportunities through the Appalachia CARES/AmeriCorps program.

We welcome the community to come by and visit our new Newport location. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. We can be reached by phone at 423-720-1956.
