Since 1989, the name Lindy Turner has been synonymous with Clinch-Powell in the communities we serve and beyond, but she was recognized this week on a national stage for her excellence in leadership and service in Rural Housing at the Housing Assistance Council (HAC) National Rural Housing Conference in Washington D.C.

HAC’s award announcement states: “Lindy has led Clinch-Powell with vision, integrity, humor, and compassion. She is an example of what a small seed can turn into – and what a dream can really become with hard work, creativity, leadership, and collaboration.

The theme for this year’s conference, Build Rural, is a mantra that has been integral to Clinch-Powell’s work and Lindy’s legacy since the beginning. We couldn’t be prouder to call Lindy our leader, learn from her on a daily basis, and celebrate her for this well-deserved Rural Housing Award!
