The Exchange to hold grand opening in Rutledge
February 19, 2026

RUTLEDGE – The Exchange, Grainger County’s first multi-use facility focused on serving both businesses and the community, will hold its grand opening in Rutledge Friday, March 6.
A ribbon cutting with the Grainger County Chamber of Commerce will take place at 10 a.m. and the building will remain open to the public until 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to stop by, take a look and learn how The Exchange could benefit them. Light refreshments will be served.
The Exchange is located in the old Rutledge City Hall/Library building at 8030 Rutledge Pike (at the corner of Rutledge Pike and Beets Ave.) in downtown Rutledge. The place “where business and community come together,” The Exchange offers a variety of services for businesses and community members.
Visitors to The Exchange will find a coworking space, private offices that are available to rent and meeting/conference rooms. The bottom floor at The Exchange features a large, open space suitable for celebrations, classes, demonstrations, pop-up vendor opportunities and more.
Co-working space at The Exchange provides a more affordable option for small businesses who need a publicly-accessible office space but who don’t want to incur the expense of rent and utility bills for a stand-alone office. In addition to co-working space, a limited number of private offices are available. Both options include utilities, WiFi, use of a copier with a specified number of copies included in the rental price (additional copies available for an additional fee), and member pricing for use of a small meeting room, larger training room and the popup/event room located in the bottom floor of the building.
The conference room and event space are both available to rent by the public. Rental of the training room includes the use of large screen TVs, a Meeting Owl 360-degree video conference camera and WiFi. Event space rentals include a variety of included and add-on benefits.
Anyone who is interested in learning more is encouraged to visit the grand opening open house Friday, March 6 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., or call Clinch-Powell at 865-828-5927.
