Gap services for seniors & individuals with disabilities are now available in Cocke County!
Appalachia CARES Gap Services Program offers support for seniors and individuals with disabilities who are living independently by easing the burden of routine home maintenance and providing social connection.
Program Services and Benefits –
- Light housekeeping and maintenance support
- Lawn maintenance and light landscaping
- Social support and connection
- Minor home modification support (grab bar installation, improved lighting, etc.)
This program does NOT provide prescription, medical, mental health, or emergency services or support.
At this time, services are open to individuals living in Cocke County, TN. Referrals from community organizations and senior care agencies are welcome and encouraged.
