The United Fund of Cumberland County

This past year, Clinch-Powell received our first-ever grant from the United Fund of Cumberland County. Since 1966, The United Fund of Cumberland County has served as a hub for charitable giving in Cumberland County. United Fund is 100% local- all monies raised stay in Cumberland County, with grants being awarded to agencies that provide programs focusing on financial stability, education, and health and wellness to those who need it most.

Stace and Gary Karge represented Clinch-Powell at the United Fund’s Annual Meeting and dinner on February 4th at Roane State Community College. This was an evening to celebrate the United Fund’s volunteers, partner agencies, and staff and to network with other grantees and funders. During the annual meeting, it was announced that 2024 donations to the United Fund had surpassed their initial goal, affording the United Fund the opportunity to award even more agencies grants to help in their work!

Clinch-Powell is so grateful for the $5000 grant award from the United Fund. These funds will be used to aid very low-income Seniors with urgent energy-efficient repairs, such as roof repair, window replacement, and HVAC repair/replacement. If you know of a Senior in Cumberland County who needs such repairs, please have them call Stace Karge at 865-274-8598 or visit our website at https://clinchpowell.net/content/home-repair.
