AmeriCorps members will support the staff, programs, and mission of the service site. Day to day activities will be assigned based on the needs and goals of the organization to further its impact in the community. Specific tasks and expectations will be discussed in the interview and enrollment process.
All Appalachia CARES AmeriCorps members will complete educational and hands-on projects in the community to address national performance measures, including housing services, energy efficiency & conservation, and volunteer management. Specific assignments and targets will be based on the service site and position. All members will complete AmeriCorps training requirements, quarterly reporting, and logging service hours.
